Boiled Cabbage

A severe bout of food poisoning

left him with brain damage.

His frontal lobe seemed to be functioning

More as an overripe boiled cabbage

Now he was able to see angels and demons.

The veil had been lifted.

It appeared they where, as it turns out

one and the same.
