Dancing Monkeys, Dancing Bears

He felt strength leaving his body

Like a traveling circus folding up its tents

Getting ready to leave town.

The Ferris wheel was rusted.

The clowns were tired.

The dancing bear stopped dancing

And the freak show was down to its last freak.

Used to be people lined up for the freak show

And the dancing bears clutching candy floss

With Excitement in their eyes.

Now they can’t even find a local drunk

To run the Ferris wheel.

Time to move on.

Looking at the map, there are

still a few small towns

To run our game.
