He Was Getting Blurry

He was getting blurry.

His edges where fuzzy

His colors would bleed into the background. 

People would squint when they looked at him.

It seemed they were trying to read between the lines

He did not know how to read between the lines.

He didn’t know such a place existed.  

He did not know the wonders such a place held.

He could read shadows like tea leaves

He could fondle snakes entrails for  clues

but he did not know how to read between the lines.  

He was not familiar with this form of magic.
