Promises in Two Parts

There was nothing holding him to the promises he had made.

Promises where tools with which to dupe the dimwitted , gull the  gullible

and  corral and extinguish rebellion.

Thereafter, he knew a diet of warm manure would serve as

laxative for those constipated with memories of promises once made..

While he had enough evidence to clear his name , he had

not the least  intention of abandoning  his dark intentions.
